The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for stocking inventory, issuing inventory to production and insuring inventory control by compiling and maintaining records of quantity, type, and value of materials, equipment, spare parts, and supplies used. These responsibilities will be completed through established computer work procedures utilizing SAP and the CMMS inventory tracking program.

Position Responsibilities - Essential
- Maintain clean work area and participate in 5S strategies
- Coordinate activities for materials organization, issue and receive tools and materials, verify, and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and prepare items for distribution
- Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing; interface with customer and peers
- Perform cycle counts as required
- Determine space requirements and position of materials in storage
- Availability and willingness to work hours outside of the normal scheduled work week and/or weekends
- Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- One year of inventory control/tool crib experience required
- One year of experience operating a forklift
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge and/or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) knowledge is required
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in inventory control required
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both listening and speaking)
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s)
- Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture
- Light carpentry skills
