The Housekeeping Associate performs housekeeping tasks, such as emptying general trash and cardboard hoppers, as well as general shop cleaning (i.e., sweeping, mopping, and operating floor scrubber). He/she will maintain a clean and orderly work environment while ensuring housekeeping duties are completed as required. Tasks will be performed within a warehouse or plant environment, ensuring compliance within the facility as it relates to quality, productivity, safety and security.

Responsibilities
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment while ensuring housekeeping duties are completed as required
- Inspects for proper packaging, stacking, and labeling according to specifications; removing trash, damaged pallets, cardboard, etc. from the production areas as needed
- Cleans daily all assigned areas of the shop
- Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities
- Based on the nature of the essential functions associated with this role, GreenWood has designated this as a “safety-sensitive” position.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- High motivated, disciplined problems-solver/troubleshooter
- Strong ethics and ability to work in team environment Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture
