Associate UX Designer

In the Associate UX Designer role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and user-friendly experiences across our digital products.'

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights on user needs and behaviors.
• Assist in developing user personas, user journeys, and experience maps.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Collaborates with Product Management, User Researchers, Customers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand the needs and goals
• Follows established standards and utilizes existing design patterns to ensure a consistent and intuitive user experience, as well as defines any new design patterns
• Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices for design
  
  

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma/GED
• BA/BS in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or related work experience
• Experience in healthcare is preferred; not mandatory
• Experience with Agile development is preferred but not mandatory
  
  

Skills, Knowledge And Abilities

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Analytical and detailed-oriented, gifted in workflow analysis
• Proficient with design tools, such as Axure, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator is preferred
• Microsoft Office and productivity-related applications
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and personal organization skills
  
  

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday
• This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of the workday
• This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as in-coming and out-going communications via the computer and/or mobile devices
• The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates
