Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Installer/Mechanic for Commercial and Government jobs in the Northern Virginia Area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial HVAC, with the ability to read blueprints and perform various plumbing tasks efficiently. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with power tools, ensuring that all HVAC installations and repairs are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.(Fan Coil Units, VAVs, Chillers, CRAC Units, Boilers)
- Read and interpret blueprints and low voltage diagrams to determine the layout of Mechanical systems and Controls.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various HVAC tasks.
- Perform pipe threading, Brazing, Soldering, Insulation and ensure proper fittings for all installations.
- Perform Duct installation, Modifications and Insulation of low to high static duct.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other construction site workers to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries regarding HVAC services.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial HVAC or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $68.00 per hour
