What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team One Chevrolet - Body Shop Tech position at Greenway Automotive Group?
Team One Chevrolet of Gadsden is looking for an experienced Auto Body Collision Technician to join our team!
The ideal candidate has previous collision/body shop experience, strong attention to detail, excellent work habits, and the ability to complete quality repairs efficiently. Experience is preferred, but qualified candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of relevant experience, required.
- I-CAR or ASE Certification (Welding, Silicon Bronze, etc.), preferred.
- Ability to follow directions and work orders with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines.
- Quality-conscious and detail-oriented.
- Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform quality collision and body repairs.
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as needed.
- Assist with repair planning and parts identification.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety and repair procedures.
- Complete required documentation.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
