Compensation: $65,000–$140,000 annually, based on experience, certifications, productivity, and other qualifying factors.

Join Our Team

Rome CDJR is looking for motivated and experienced Automotive Service Technicians to join our growing Service Department. We are looking for dependable technicians who take pride in quality repairs, accurate diagnostics, and exceptional customer service.

CDJR or dealership experience is preferred. ASE Certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Perform mechanical repairs, inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance services.
• Use diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to accurately identify vehicle concerns.
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently.
• Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate repair recommendations and vehicle concerns with Service Advisors.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and services performed.
• Perform quality-control inspections to ensure repairs are completed properly.
• Stay current with new vehicle technology, repair procedures, and manufacturer updates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Participate in manufacturer training and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive technician experience preferred.
• CDJR or dealership experience preferred.
• ASE Certification preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic repair skills.
• Experience using shop equipment, including diagnostic systems, lifts, alignment equipment, and A/C machines.
• Ability to accurately diagnose and repair automotive systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license required.
