GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the ENR - Enrollment Services department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
The purpose of the Assistant Director of Admissions is to effectively manage the demands of admissions that encompasses regular, transient, and international students including admissions policies and procedures, the assistant director would perform a variety of critical duties:
- Manage enrollment operations staff in day-to-day operations that include application reviews, document processing, and acceptance procedures for all incoming new students.
- Serve as PDSO or DSO for International student population
- Evaluate and adjust admissions policies and procedures for all populations - regular, dual enrollment, transient, and international.
- Accurately enter ad update student data in the college's information systems, handling tasks such as social security number corrections, status changes, address updates, and withdrawals.
- Evaluate incoming transcripts
- Assist students in understanding their academic records, degree requirements, and any necessary steps for completing their programs.
Admissions Technology
- Work in conjunction with the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Operations to implement new technologies (student information systems, online applications, forms, customer relationship management systems, etc.) for the benefit of a streamlined applicant experience.
Coordination and Collaboration
- Work closely with adjacent departments to ensure smooth admissions process across all student populations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years relevant program experience or Master's degree. Experience with general, international and transient student admissions. Strong organizational and managerial skills. Strong written, verbal, and persuasive communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to present a professional image and work flexibly with self-motivation independently and in team situations.
