Position Summary
As a Team GRS Water Damage Restoration Lead Technician starting at $20-$26/hour DOE, you will be responsible for demolition and removal of all damaged components including drywall, flooring, carpet, structural lumber, plumbing and electrical and preparing structures for re-construction by identifying and repairing water damage sources, installing drying equipment and applying anti-mold growth product to ensure safety and cleanliness for reconstruction. Your success will be determined by your ability to consistently be on-time and prepared for each job, as well as your ability to adapt to changing conditions as the nature of restoration jobs vary widely in scope and difficulty.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assess damaged properties to see what can be saved.
- Cleaning and storing damaged properties until they can be returned to the home.
- Removing and replacing damaged materials, such as wallboards, lumbar, and carpets.
- Handling any issues caused by water damage, including drying out the area and removing mold.
- Sanitizing structural features that can be saved.
- Answering complaints, explaining job specifications and invoices, and performing other customer service duties.
- Adhering to personal safety standards by wearing the appropriate protective gear and using the right equipment.
- Install drying equipment to ensure moisture reduction to acceptable levels
- Develop positive working relationships, where applicable, with customers and mitigate negative experiences that may result from missed or inaccurate communication to and from project managers

Job Requirements
- Must have current IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification
- Must have clean driving record and valid drivers license - Company Vehicle Provided
- Must be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate to Greenville, SC
- Must be available and able to work in-office from 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
- Hazard Pay and Overtime Pay apply
- Must be comfortable and capable using cloud-based technology systems such as G-Suite and CRM systems (ProvenJobs)
- Prior insurance negotiation or project estimation experience is strongly recommended
- Must be comfortable and capable of both written and verbal communication
- Must be capable of lifting 80lbs.
