Job Description Summary
The Loan Center is seeking a Collections Clerk responsible for managing delinquent accounts and supporting collection-related activities.
Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Ø Contacting delinquent accounts
Ø Managing DDA charge-offs
Ø Fraud/scam losses, and identity theft reporting
Ø Preparing monthly delinquency reports
Ø Processing payments
Ø Assisting customers
Ø Coordinating occasional local repossessions
Ø Representing the bank in small claims court
Job Requirements, Competencies, and Skills
Ø Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within the department
Ø Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance recurring deadlines with daily tasks
Ø Clear and effective communication skills to support customer interactions, collaboration with coworkers, and teamwork within the department
Ø Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
Ø Trustworthy and dependable in carrying out daily responsibilities and contributing to overall departmental success
Ø Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred
Ø Willingness to learn and assume additional duties
