A well-established assisted living organization in the New Hampshire Seacoast region is seeking a professional, organized, and people-focused Human Resources Manager to support two assisted living communities.

Position OverviewThe Human Resources Coordinator / Manager will be responsible for supporting day-to-day human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee file maintenance, compliance tracking, staff communication, and general employee relations support.
This position works closely with facility leadership to ensure HR processes are timely, organized, confidential, and consistent across both communities.
Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, applicant follow-up, interview scheduling, and new hire processing
Support onboarding and orientation for new employees
Maintain accurate employee files and required HR documentation
Track licenses, certifications, background checks, health requirements, and other compliance items
Assist department leaders with staffing needs and employee communication
Support payroll and timekeeping processes as needed
Help ensure policies and procedures are communicated consistently
Serve as an approachable and professional HR resource for employees
Partner with leadership to support employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR-related matters
The ideal candidate will have:
Prior Human Resources experience required
Healthcare, assisted living, long-term care, or senior living experience strongly preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Comfort working in a fast-paced, people-centered environment
Working knowledge of onboarding, employee documentation, and compliance tracking
Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and HR/payroll systems preferred
A positive, professional, and solutions-focused approach
Full-time position with standard business hours. Flexibility may be needed based on operational needs.
