Where do you fit in?
As part of the Green Team, you will be performing skilled grounds maintenance to include edging, mowing, pruning in addition to driving our vehicles. You will operate all tools associated with landscaping including zero turn mowers, edgers, runners, trimmers, blowers chainsaws and any other tool needed to finish jobs in a quality professional manner
Responsibilities:
- Operate vehicle in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations
- Report to work on time and ready.
- Support crew with maintenance landscaping needs.
- Clean site and watch for trash, limbs, and rocks
- Pull weeds as needed
- Blow leaves and clippings
- Edge grass at curbs and walkways
- Unload and wash equipment
- Work with and maintain a variety of commercial landscape equipment such as blowers, mowers, clippers and edgers as well as landscaping materials.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with snow operations
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Knowledge of landscaping tools
- Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours a day.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds with proper lifting techniques and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- At least 2 years of commercial landscape experience
- Valid NC driver’s license with 3 years of safe driving experience required ( Must be at least 21 years old)
