Greensboro Tire & Auto Service Center is an independently owned and operated business serving the Triad since 1984. Our mission is to provide the Triad with an excellent quality and affordable alternative to the dealer for automotive solutions.
We are seeking a mid-level Automotive Technician (3 years) to join our team. This person should be well versed in all popular makes and models and capable of performing repairs involving the following systems: brakes, suspension & steering, light powertrain, climate control, and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot customer complaints involving the braking system, suspension/steering, climate control, cooling system, and charging/starting.
- Conduct repairs on automotive charging systems, cooling systems, brakes, suspension & steering, climate control, and light powertrain.
- Execute 4-wheel alignments & tire installation.
- Perform preventative maintenance services.
- Complete detailed digital vehicle inspections efficiently and consistently.
- Utilize power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of recommendations made, services performed and miscellaneous notes during repairs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to automotive repair.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- 3 years experience or more
- Aptitude in mid-level mechanical procedures
- Fully equipped toolbox
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday
- State Inspection license highly recommended
- ASE Certifications highly recommended
