Job Summary
Greensboro Tire & Auto Service Center is an independently owned and operated business serving the Triad since 1984. Our mission is to provide the Triad with an excellent quality and affordable alternative to the dealer for automotive solutions.
We are seeking an experienced A-level Automotive Technician to join our team. This person should be well versed in all popular makes and models with a versatile set of mechanical skills and diagnostic capabilities. This position involves a dynamic repertoire of tasks from advanced diagnostic troubleshooting and heavy line repairs to suspension, brakes and preventative maintenance procedures. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct repairs on automotive electrical systems, cooling systems, brakes, suspension & steering, climate control, engine repair, etc.
- Execute 4-wheel alignments
- Utilize power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with & assist junior team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of recommendations made, services performed and miscellaneous notes during repairs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to automotive repair.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- 5 years experience
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Fully equipped toolbox
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday
- State Inspection license highly recommended
- ASE Certifications highly recommended
