Job Summary
The Regional Human Resources Generalist is a key role responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support and expertise, including full-cycle regional payroll processing, to our employees and management across designated locations within the assigned region. This role will execute regional HR strategies, manage day-to-day HR operations, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in employee relations, talent management, and HR compliance, with a meticulous eye for detail.
Duties & Functions
3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably supporting a multi-site or regional structure.
Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources field, relevant experience can be supplemented in lieu of a degree
Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) is a plus
Demonstrated knowledge of Federal and State employment lays with a strong emphasis on wage and hour regulations.
Proficiency with HRIS and dedicated payroll systems (Paylocity experience is a plus)

Duties & Functions
- Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns in the region.
- Conduct confidential and thorough internal investigations into employee complaints.
- Coach managers on performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Support and facilitate the regional performance review cycle.
- Payroll
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including required overtime, meal/rest breaks, and final pay regulations.
- Process and track all regional leave of absence (LOA) payments, including short-term disability and FMLA pay, ensuring proper deductions.
- Benefits, Compensation, and HRIS Management
- Assist employees with enrollment and general benefits inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in Paylocity, ensuring data integrity between the HRIS and the Payroll system.
- Process all employee status changes, terminations, and new hire setups in both HR and Payroll systems.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Collaborate with regional hiring managers and Corporate Talent Acquisition on recruitment efforts.
- Manage the regional onboarding and off-boarding processes, including conducting new hire orientation sessions.
- Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Ensure all regional HR practices, policies, and procedures comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Stay current on changes in employment law, particularly those related to wage and hour compliance.
