Job Overview
Customer Service
· Engage with customers in a courteous manner, addressing their needs, inquiries, and providing information on cannabis products.
· Stay updated on the latest cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods to educate customers effectively.
· Recommend products based on customer preferences and offer guidance on dosage, consumption methods, and potential side effects.
· Advertise promotions and discounts while ensuring customers are well-informed.
· Ensure compliance with state and local regulations, verifying customer identification and age requirements.
Product Knowledge
· Maintain current and thorough knowledge of cannabis products, including their effects, benefits, and risks.
· Assist customers in making informed decisions by providing resources and information.
Compliance
· Enforce all applicable laws and regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
· Assist in inventory management, restocking shelves, and monitoring product expiration dates.
· Report any discrepancies or issues to management promptly.
POS System Operation
· Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash and electronic payments securely.
· Keep the sales area organized and tidy.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities

Abilities

· Moderate lifting: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently, up to 50 pounds with assistance.
· Prolonged standing and walking within the facility, occasional sitting at a reception desk.
Knowledge
· Preferred: 1 year of experience in Retail, Food/Restaurant, Hospitality, or medical industries.
· No specific educational requirements.
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
