Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 paid after 90 days of work

Description
GreenKiss Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech III for a confidential food manufacturing client in Swansea, MA.

This is an opportunity to join an established food manufacturing operation that produces premium fresh prepared foods for grocery stores, hot bars, and restaurants across the country. The company is committed to quality, food safety, and delivering excellent food experiences, including products with specialty certifications such as organic, gluten-free, and low sodium.

Summary
Perform required maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment as scheduled or as needed during processing hours.

Work independently and cooperatively to meet and/or exceed the expectations of the customer, company, and department through established and maintained procedures. Maintain positive and productive behavior, demonstrating care for the customer and fellow employees without compromising company or personal standards.

Essential Duties

Routinely Inspect Equipment

• Routinely inspect equipment to identify and report potential equipment failures.
• Routinely inspect equipment to identify and report potential equipment safety issues involving personnel and/or food safety.
• Routinely inspect plant utilities to identify and report potential equipment failures.

Perform Maintenance Duties

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on process equipment as scheduled and/or assigned.
• Perform repairs to maintain the operational ability and integrity of process equipment.
• Maintain areas outside of processing areas to the level of requirements of the Master Sanitation Plan.
• Perform pre-operational equipment setup and maintenance, as well as post-operational equipment teardown and maintenance on process equipment.

Operate Equipment

• Safely operate various maintenance power tools and measuring instruments.
• Safely operate gas-cutting and welding systems.
• Safely operate forklifts and manual and/or electric pallet jacks (plant certification required).
• Must be Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) certified.

Maintain Required Maintenance and Company Records

• Maintain and update work orders and preventive maintenance worksheets within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including creating and completing work orders.
• Maintain and understand how to use equipment manuals located within the Maintenance Library.

Education and Development

• High school diploma and a trade school certification; or
• Four years of related machine maintenance experience.
