Greenheart Exchange, a division of Greenheart International, has been fostering cultural exchange and global understanding since 1985. Our J-1 High School Program connects international students with welcoming host families across the U.S., promoting cross-cultural learning and lifelong friendships.

What You’ll Do as a Local Coordinator:

· Recruit and support host families interested in welcoming an international student.

· Guide families through the approval process and provide orientations.

· Serve as a mentor for students and host families throughout the school year.

· Build relationships with local high schools to facilitate student placements.

· Encourage student engagement through volunteer activities.

Who We’re Looking For:

✅ Passionate about cultural exchange and community-building

✅ Skilled at networking and relationship-building

✅ Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

✅ Comfortable using social media for outreach

✅ Experienced in mentoring youth (a plus!)

· Department: J-1 High School Programs

· Type: Independent Contractor

· Start Date: Immediately

· Location: Remote/Work from Home (occasional local travel required)

· Compensation: Competitive placement payments potential for generous bonuses

Requirements:

· Must pass a criminal background check.

· Reliable internet access and home office setup.

· Completion of a Department of State certification test (Greenheart provides training).
