Job Description
Our team is seeking an Accounting Analyst with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset to oversee the daily accounting operations of specific project companies. This role offers the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred but not required
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably with public accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP; experience with financing compliance a plus
- Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Key Responsibilities
For all assigned project companies:
- Manage project-level accounting, ensuring accuracy of the general ledger and supporting records
- Lead month-end, quarter-end and annual close process
- Perform AP/AR, account reconciliations, accruals and journal entries
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Assist in the preparation of accounting memos as needed
- Prepare monthly project actuals vs. budget variance analysis
- Support budgeting and forecasting for assigned projects
- Assist in the compliance with debt covenants and reporting requirements
- Prepare and submit financial deliverables under financing agreements (e.g., financial statements, compliance certificates, budget packages)
- Support audits, tax filings, and financing-related diligence processes
