What You’ll Do As An OTR
- Evaluate residents’ physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning
- Develop and implement individualized, functional treatment plans
- Promote independence in everyday activities—dressing, grooming, feeding, mobility, and meaningful routines
- Support safe transitions, equipment needs, and environmental adaptations
- Educate caregivers, staff, and families to enhance outcomes
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members
- Deliver skilled therapy services across skilled nursing and assisted living settings
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Current Wisconsin Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility)
- Passion for supporting older adults in maximizing independence and quality of life
- Strong clinical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
- License as required by the State of Wisconsin to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
