Position: Environmental Health Scientist Fellowship

Location: Research Triangle Park, NC (Hybrid)

Pay: $60,000–$65,000/year

Experience: Early-career experience in environmental health, public health, or related research.

Education: Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Greene Resources is seeking an Environmental Health Scientist Fellowship to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Support environmental health research projects focused on lead-based paint, asbestos, and community hazards.
• Review technical documents for completeness, accuracy, and program compliance.
• Assist with the evaluation of environmental hazard materials and mitigation documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams to track timelines, deliverables, and workflows.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including schools, childcare facilities, and contractors.
• Identify missing or inconsistent information and support resolution with participants.
• Develop and improve guidance materials, templates, and documentation tools.
• Support data tracking, reporting, and project coordination using internal systems.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Knowledge of environmental health documentation and compliance processes.
• Familiarity with lead-based paint, asbestos, or indoor environmental hazards.
• Experience reviewing records and identifying gaps or inconsistencies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organized workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings.
