Job Description
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery used in the manufacturing of flooring trims.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines and upgrades.
- Maintain all work order records and preventative maintenance schedules within CMMS.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify recurring equipment issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Support compliance with safety regulations and internal policies, including
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE usage, and equipment guarding.
- Perform routine inspections to identify and report equipment wear, potential failures, or unsafe conditions
- Help ensure the plant meets manufacturing KPI’s and other performance metrics.
- Execution of 5S within plant maintenance and other work areas.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficient using tools, diagnostic devices, and CMMS (computerized maintenance
- management systems).
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends, if necessary.
- Technical diploma or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
