Fabrication Technician (Brake Press / Laser / Turret Punch)

We are looking for dependable Fabrication Technicians to join our production team. These positions operate CNC fabrication equipment including press brakes, lasers, and Strippit turret punch presses to produce precision sheet metal components used throughout our product line.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brakes, laser cutting equipment, and Strippit turret punch presses.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Verify dimensions and inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and minor adjustments.
- Load and unload sheet metal safely and efficiently.
- Monitor machine performance and identify quality or production issues.
- Deburr, sort, and prepare parts for the next stage of manufacturing.
- Work closely with engineering, scheduling, and other production departments.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and keep equipment clean.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.
- Assist in other fabrication operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred.
- Experience operating CNC press brakes, laser cutters, turret punches, or similar equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring equipment including tape measures, calipers, and squares.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Amada or Strippit equipment.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Forklift experience.
- Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment.
