Summary
As a Medical Laboratory Technician at Coast, you will play a vital role in supporting patient care through accurate laboratory testing and analysis. This position is essential to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services and improving the overall health of our community.
Lab Technician (MLT) - Laboratory
- Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
- Four 10-hour shifts, 6:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. OR
- Three 12-hour shifts, 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
- Full-time position (72 hours/2-week pay period)
- Shift includes holiday rotation and limited call shifts
- Benefits eligible, PTO, IPERS
- Obtain specimens and maintain specimen equipment
- Perform complex medical laboratory tests for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease
- Analyze laboratory findings to check accuracy of the results
- Enter data from analysis of medical tests and clinical results into computer for storage
- Operate, calibrate and maintain equipment used in quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional patient interactions
- Complete clerical duties involving the laboratory
- May travel to other departments and community to collect specimens
- Required: Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Program
- Required: Associate degree of Applied Science
- Preferred: ASCP certification

Pay: $21.42 - $36.78 per hour
