What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Social Worker/Child Therapist position at GREENE COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER?
- Monday-Friday, clinic schedule
- Full benefits package; IPERS
- Will provide emotional and psychological support to children and their families
- Will provide psychoeducation about development, trauma and strategies that support the child's emotional wellbeing to caregivers
- Strong crisis intervention skills
- Knowledge of community resources and services
- Ability to work in an emotionally demanding environment
- Knowledge of child welfare and protection law
- Required: Master's Degree in Social Work (LISW, LMSW) or a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license
- Preferred: Experience working with children under the age of 14.
- Preferred: At least 2 years' experience and specialized training working with young children
- Preferred: Experience in EPIC but not required
