What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN - Family Medicine Clinic position at GREENE COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER?
- Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
- Benefits eligible, PTO, IPERS
- Monday-Friday, 4-10 hours days
- Shift hours 6:45a - 5:15p
- Assist provider and other clinical staff with obtaining basic vital information, preparing patient for examination, treatment and minor procedures.
- Schedule referrals for patients with specialist as requested by the provider.
- Responsible for tracking system for follow-up appointments related to office visits, laboratory tests, and procedures to regularly follow patient monitoring disease status.
- Behave in a manner consistent with all compliance and HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Required: Graduate of an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses
- Preferred: Previous clinical experience in a medical office
- Preferred: EPIC experience preferred but not required, will train.
- Preferred: Computer data entry experience.
- Required: Current license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa for Licensed Practical Nurse. BLS and Mandatory Reporter Certificate required.
