What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMA, LPN, RN - Family Medicine Clinic position at GREENE COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER?
- Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
- Benefits eligible, PTO, IPERS
- Monday-Friday, 4-10 hours days
- Shift hours 6:45a - 5:15p
- Assist provider and other clinical staff with obtaining basic vital information, preparing patient for examination, treatment and minor procedures.
- Schedule referrals for patients with specialist as requested by the provider.
- Responsible for tracking system for follow-up appointments related to office visits, laboratory tests, and procedures to regularly follow patient monitoring disease status.
- Behave in a manner consistent with all compliance and HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Required: Graduate of an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses, or graduate of an accredited program for CMA, or graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nurse
- Preferred: Previous clinical experience in a medical office
- Preferred: EPIC experience preferred but not required, will train.
- Preferred: Computer data entry experience.
- Required: Current license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa for Licensed Practical Nurse, or current CMA license, or current license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa for Registered Nurse. BLS and Mandatory Reporter Certificate required.
