Job Summary
We are looking for experienced, safety-focused CDL Class A Drivers with an Air Brake Endorsement to join our growing team. This full-time, Monday–Friday position offers consistent local routes, allowing you to return home every night. As a Roll-Off Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transportation and servicing of roll-off containers while maintaining compliance with company safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong driving skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate roll-off trucks and other heavy-duty commercial vehicles in accordance with company policies
- Deliver, remove, and transport roll-off containers to and from customer locations in a safe and timely manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Secure and tarp loads when required to ensure safe transportation
- Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently
- Follow all safety procedures and load securement practices
- Assist with loading and unloading activities as necessary
- Provide outstanding customer service while representing the company in a professional manner
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License with Air Brake Endorsement required
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and remain alert throughout shifts
- Must pass a DOT physical examination and meet all federal health requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties, including climbing on and off equipment and tarping loads
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Experience operating roll-off trucks and other heavy-duty equipment, including:
- Front loaders
- Rear loaders
- Dump trucks
- Flatbeds
- Tractor-trailers
- Mechanical knowledge of commercial trucks and heavy equipment
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles
- Knowledge of load securement and transportation safety procedures
- Ability to safely navigate varying road, weather, and job site conditions
- Strong time management and delivery coordination skills
