Greenbush – The Southeast Kansas Education Service Center is seeking applications for a/an
Project Manager at Girard, KS campus.
Job Summary: Work in the Greenbush Center of Community Supports to provide project management support and systems. This position is a combination of human resource management, client relations, and coordination with internal Greenbush systems. The position is designed to maximize the use of program management software to support educational, community-based, and governmental projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
A valid driver’s license is required for employment. REAL ID is required if air travel is necessary to complete job duties.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum five years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with community-based projects such as substance use prevention, behavioral health services, and/or other education-based programming.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and human resources in order to meet client expectations.
- Demonstrated competence in working successfully within a project budget and within an assigned timeline.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Project Management Certification/Training.
- Seven year’s relevant work experience.
- Experience working with state-wide programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
- Lead multiple Project Teams in activities that ensure project goals and objectives are met.
- Act as the point of contact with clients and internal/external stakeholders.
- Work with clients to develop detailed project plans, including a scope of work, activities, timeline, and budget.
- Demonstrate strong intra- and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, decision-makers, and stakeholders to provide timely, quality program outcomes.
- Effectively utilize project management software to manage human, financial, and technological resources.
- Monitor project goals and outcomes for adherence to the scope of work.
- Prepare operational reports, technical reports, and presentations as requested.
- Present project results both written and orally to internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a content specialist on other projects.
- Travel to support projects as required.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or designee.

Terms of Employment: Salary, work schedule, and vacation to be established by the SEKESC Board of Directors or Executive Director.
Evaluation: Job performance is to be evaluated annually by the Program Director or designee.
