Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Help patients with mobility and physical exercises as directed by nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and concerns.
- Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with facility policies.
Skills
- Knowledge of geriatrics and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Understanding of physiology to effectively monitor patient health indicators.
- Experience in clinical settings such as nursing homes.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care.
