Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding dental services.
- Verify patient insurance information and process payments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Manage office correspondence and maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Assist dental staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-ups.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in dental office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in using office equipment and software (e.g., MS Office, dental practice management software).
- Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are an advantage.
