Responsibilities
As a Surgical Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our surgeons and ensuring a seamless patient experience. You will be responsible for preparing patients and surgical rooms, assisting during procedures, and providing post-operative care and instructions.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and eager to contribute to a positive patient environment.
Assist the surgeon during oral and maxillofacial surgeries, including preparation and sterilization of instruments.
- Prepare patients for surgery, explaining procedures and post-op questions
- Maintain a sterile and organized surgical environment.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and report any changes to the surgeon.
- Provide post-operative care instructions and support to patients.
- Manage and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the dental practice.
Skills
- Proficiency in Dental terminology and procedures
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices
- Ability to perform vital signs assessments accurately
- Knowledge of X-ray procedures
- Skilled in aseptic techniques for maintaining sterile environments
- Understanding of general dentistry practices

Base Pay: $21.00 - $32.00 per hour

- Oral surgery: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- DAANCE ,XRAY, CPR (Required)
