Greenawalt Hospitality is seeking entry-level and experienced Concession Event Staff to support food, beverage, and concession operations at events throughout Alabama. This role requires energetic, reliable individuals who can provide excellent guest service, support team operations, and contribute to efficient event execution. Team members may also be asked to assist with bartending and alcohol service responsibilities depending on event needs.

Key Responsibilities

Concessions & Event Service

• Prepare, serve, and distribute food, beverages, and concession items in accordance with company standards
• Assist with event setup, service execution, and breakdown as needed
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked concession and service areas
• Support beverage and bartending operations when assigned

Guest Experience & Engagement

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to guests
• Maintain a positive and engaging attitude throughout events
• Accurately communicate menu items, beverage offerings, and product information when needed

Team Collaboration

• Work alongside team members to ensure events are executed smoothly and successfully
• Support bartenders, concession leads, and event managers as needed
• Adapt to changing operational needs in fast-paced event environments

Standards, Training, & Accountability

• Complete all required company training prior to working events
• Obtain SERV Safe Alcohol Certification upon hire if assigned to alcohol service (company facilitated)
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, food handling guidelines, and alcohol service regulations
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail at all times

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Availability to work events throughout the week, including Friday and Saturday nights
• Completion of company-provided training
• Reliable communication for checking messages and emails regularly
• Reliable transportation
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outgoing, personable, and professional demeanor
• Ability to retain and communicate product knowledge effectively
• Ability to lift 30 lbs or more and move equipment or supplies
• Ability to stand for extended periods (4 hours)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous concessions, bartending, hospitality, or food & beverage experience preferred
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Experience working in events, catering, stadiums, festivals, or hospitality environments

Pay

$15 per hour opportunity for tips
