Job Overview
Green Wave Electronics is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Manager/Supervisor to oversee operations at our new fulfilment centre in Westlake, FL. This role will play a critical part in supporting our eCommerce and fulfilment services, working alongside our established centres in Atlanta, GA, and Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory management, maintaining high accuracy and timeliness to meet customer demands.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior management in setting up the new fulfilment centre.
- Hire and train new team members.
- Supervise daily shipping and receiving activities, including managing staff and coordinating workflows.
- Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials, ensuring quality control and proper documentation.
- Manage outbound shipping processes, ensuring timely dispatch and compliance with carrier requirements.
- Implement and monitor inventory management practices, including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
- Train and develop team members on safety protocols, equipment use, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with fulfilment teams in Atlanta and Indianapolis to streamline inter-centre logistics.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on shipping/receiving performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards, including hazardous materials handling if applicable.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse supervision.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and eCommerce fulfilment processes.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of 5-10 employees local drivers, manage customer relationships and vendor relations
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and shipping software.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field preferred.
