What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic position at Green Valley Recruiting?
We are working with a large manufacturing company in the Wadsworth, Ohio area with an opening for a Mechanic working Monday-Friday, on 2nd shift (3pm-11pm), with weekend overtime required as needed. Currently working 50-60 hours weekly. A Journeyman certification, or equivalent experience is required. This is an industrial / manufacturing environment. The right individual will be responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery, supplying the line with uninterrupted flow of materials, and relieving and directing equipment operators.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for adjusting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components of can line equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Journeyman certification, or equivalent required.
- High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
- Capable of all types of troubleshooting of all types of equipment.
Our client offers:
- A solid hourly pay of $40.50/hr. with shift differentials (2nd-.60/hr.)
- $3000.00 retention bonus paid after 6 months and 12 months of continuous service
- All tools will be provided and you will receive a $1,557 tool allowance twice a year
