An Irrigation Inspector inspects irrigation systems utilizing the online tools provided by Weathermatic Smartlink. Performs Weathermatic Smartlink inspections and provides proposals. Installs new Weathermatic Smartlink controllers and makes minor repairs if needed. Performs irrigation system run-throughs to check for any irrigation repairs that need to be made. Creates repair work orders in the Irrigation Work Order System and develops irrigation zone maps along with locating irrigation controllers, backflows, and SVC controllers.

Responsibilities
- Using the company issued iPad, perform a daily schedule of irrigation inspections through the online inspection tool for Green Summit properties.
- Learn how to operate all different types of irrigation controllers.
- Report irrigation repairs through the work order system and the Weathermatic Smartlink software.
- Proactively manage Weathermatic Smartlink controllers by monitoring alerts and faults.
- Install new Weathermatic Smartlink Controllers and perform initial inspection and setup.
- Perform minor irrigation repairs if needed that fall under the pre-approval amount set for each property. Minor repairs include but are not limited to poly line leaks, broken emitters, and broken sprinkler heads.
- Meet with Account Managers, Field Operations Managers, and Crew Leaders on sites when needed to review irrigation status.
- Meet productivity budgets for hours and gross margin, including checking the accuracy of time entries in QuickBooks Time and adjusting as needed.
- May oversee and manage one other person (irrigation inspector helper). Most often works alone and sets own schedule to complete inspection schedule.
- Provide Weathermatic Smartlink and other irrigation system training as needed for Green Summit Team Members.
- Create area maps for irrigation zones, controllers, and other irrigation equipment.

- Ability to drive a ¾ ton truck, or bigger, with an 18’ trailer hauling equipment.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to interpret and navigate residential areas using a map.
- JS-6 License and backflow testing certification preferred but not required.
