People enjoy being lawn care technicians because they have a great balance of being by themselves with intermittent interaction with customers and other employees. Technicians LOVE to work outdoors as they provide services to some of the area's most beautiful properties. All our technicians are provided riding equipment vs having to push spreaders daily. Unlike most, we are not just about production but are constantly educating our technicians to advanced diagnosing, methods of treatments and various beneficial cultural practices all of which is hands-on training.
Driving company vehicles from Green Scene office/warehouse in Noblesville to clients' properties and treating the property with high-quality, environmentally sensitive products (i.e. grass seed, fertilizer, herbicides, pesticides, etc.)
Identifying various grasses, weeds, diseases, and insects and then implementing appropriate control solutions or recommendations. (We fully train)
Operating, maintaining and calibrating equipment, tools and machinery (e.g. Rider Spreaders & spray equipment)
Communicating clearly (verbally and written) with clients and office staff about lawn issues, services provided & recommendations. (Remember we fully train/hands on)
Meeting/Exceeding production standards and goals

Lawn Care Technician Job Requirements
Adherence to the company’s policies and safety standards Maintain a valid Indiana Driver's License with relatively clean driving record and insurability; High School Diploma or Equivalent
Reliable transportation to work (Office / Warehouse in SE Noblesville)
Willingness to work according to various weather conditions, unlike others we dont work in the rain) Ability to thrive in a team environment yet self-directed when working alone.
Ability to operate equipment and machinery.
Ability to regularly lift in excess of 50 lbs.
Drug testing and background checks may be required
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY as we will train the right people. If you have experience that's great.
Experienced technicians who already have their RT or 3B License, will receive a bonus after the 3 week training / probation period
No experience is necessary. We will train you to be successful at this job/career.
