Are you passionate about language, culture, and inspiring students to become confident global communicators? We are seeking a dynamic and student-centered French Teacher for Grades 7–12 to join our dedicated educational team.
This full-time position includes teaching French 1, French 2, and French 3 courses at the high school level, as well as developing engaging exploratory/world language experiences for middle school students in grades 7–8. The successful candidate will also serve as a student advisor and contribute positively to our collaborative school community.
Key Responsibilities:
•Deliver engaging, standards-based French instruction aligned with proficiency-based learning expectations.
•Teach speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while fostering cultural understanding and global awareness.
•Create exploratory language and culture courses for middle school students.
•Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners, including students with IEPs, 504 plans, and multilingual learners.
•Integrate technology and authentic resources to enhance language acquisition and student engagement.
•Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with students and families.
•Serve as an advisor supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
•Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, special educators, and administration to promote student success.
•Participate actively in school initiatives, professional development, and faculty committees.
