Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout residential properties
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygienic living spaces
- Conduct floor cleaning and floor care activities such as sweeping, scrubbing, and carpet cleaning to restore surfaces to their best condition
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with efficiency and care
- Handle manual lifting of furniture, appliances, and cleaning supplies safely during various cleaning tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces including kitchens, bathrooms, windows, and outdoor areas as required
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service while managing schedules efficiently
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with janitorial or custodial background preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning techniques, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and sanitation standards to ensure effective hygiene practices
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments within designated timeframes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling guidelines
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations and feedback
- Knowledge of housekeeper management practices including dusting, floor care, laundry processes, and outdoor work procedures
