Accounting & Administration Manager
Our client, a successful and growing company in Conroe, TX, is seeking an Accounting & Administration Manager to oversee accounting, payroll, office administration, and key operational support functions.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys owning the accounting process while also helping keep the broader business running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to work closely with leadership across the company.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions and financial processes.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, expense tracking, and cash flow reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and management reporting.
- Monitor project profitability and support financial analysis for leadership.
- Process payroll, commissions, bonuses, reimbursable expenses, and related records.
- Supervise office administration, HR administration, and internal support functions.
- Support PTO tracking, recruiting coordination, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee records.
- Coordinate with IT vendors and help oversee internal troubleshooting and support processes.
- Manage insurance documentation, vendor/customer policy records, and administrative procedures.
- Help improve internal processes, reporting, controls, and overall efficiency.
- Provide leadership and support to ensure accounting and administrative functions operate accurately and consistently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong accounting, payroll, and administrative management experience.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and payroll systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
