Role Summary
The Cultivation Associate / Cultivation Technician is responsible for executing day-to-day cultivation activities in support of greenhouse cannabis production. This role performs hands-on plant care across all stages of the cultivation lifecycle, including propagation, vegetative growth, flowering, harvest, and post-harvest support, ensuring optimal health, quality and yield. All work is performed in accordance with established SOPs, production schedules, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Plant Care & Cultivation Operations
- Execute daily cultivation tasks according to production schedules and SOPs.
- Perform cloning, transplanting, pruning, defoliation, trellising, and general plant maintenance.
- Monitor plant health for signs of pests, disease, or stress and report issues to supervisors.
- Follow IPM protocols and comply with REI, PPE, and biosecurity requirements.
- Monitor temperature, humidity, irrigation, and other environmental conditions.
- Maintain clean and sanitary cultivation rooms, workspaces, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with harvest activities including cutting plants, bucking, hanging, and material handling.
- Support post-harvest activities such as room clean-out and preparation for subsequent cycles.
Inventory, Labeling & Compliance
- Accurately label plants, batches, and materials according to facility procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and required data entry when requested.
- Comply with all state regulations, security requirements, and access protocols.
Team Communication & Support
- Communicate daily progress, issues, and observations to team leads and management.
- Coordinate tasks with team members to maintain efficient workflow.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
