Green Fork Kitchen is looking for a skilled, experienced, and motivated Prep Cook to join our team! If you’re passionate about fresh, healthy food and have a knack for creating delicious, well-prepared dishes, we’d love to meet you.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prepping ingredients for a variety of menu items (salads, bowls, smoothies, etc.)
- Ensuring all food is prepped with high attention to quality, portion control, and consistency
- Maintaining a clean and organized prep station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Using knives, slicers, and other kitchen tools with precision and care
- Following specific recipes and guidelines to ensure food meets Green Fork Kitchen’s quality standards
- Assisting the kitchen team with additional tasks as needed to support smooth operations
- Ensuring food waste is minimized and storage areas are properly organized
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen position
- Strong knife skills and a solid understanding of food prep techniques
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to stay organized and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen leadership
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality food preparation
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
