Qualifications for Position:

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Experience with ERP systems preferred.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Create, issue, and update purchase orders within the ERP system.
• Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with vendors regarding delivery status.
• Confirm vendor acknowledgements, pricing, quantities, and delivery dates.
• Coordinate inbound deliveries with Receiving and Operations.
• Process direct shipments and communicate delivery updates.
• Maintain organized purchasing records and vendor documentation.
• Assist with invoice reconciliation and purchasing documentation.
• Communicate shortages, delays, substitutions, and vendor updates to the Purchasing Manager.
• Generate purchasing reports and maintain purchasing data accuracy.
• Support inventory replenishment activities and perform other duties as assigned
• Southeast US plant identification is highly preferred
• Familiar with Florida grades / standards for determining quality of trees and shrubs is highly desired
