[About the Opportunity] Our client, a leading global manufacturing company specializing in high-performance chemical components for the automotive industry, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to join their facility in Commerce, GA.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing daily production operations, optimizing process efficiency, and leading a high-performing team. [Key Responsibilities]
- Production Planning & Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource utilization.
- Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and productivity.
- KPI Management: Analyze production data and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve output, quality, and safety.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor production supervisors and floor staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and professional growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and streamline workflows.
- Reporting: Support executive leadership and HQ by providing detailed reports on production status and operational metrics.
[Qualifications]
- Experience: 7 years in Manufacturing Production Management, with at least 5 years specifically in Chemical Manufacturing.
- Leadership: 3 years in a supervisory or management role (Manager, Team Lead, or Supervisor).
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of chemical production processes, equipment flow, and process manufacturing environments.
- Systems: Proficiency in MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and MS Office Suite.
- Flexibility: Ability to support extended hours or weekends as needed to meet production demands.
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
[Preferred Skills]
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Language: Bilingual in English and Korean (Written & Verbal) is highly preferred to facilitate communication with global HQ.(But not required)
- Expertise: Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, or audit readiness/compliance.
