What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Coroner- On Call position at Green County?
Green County Deputy Coroner. This position is an on-call position that does not have a guaranteed set number of hours and is paid an hourly stipend for work performed. Duties for this position include scene investigation; working with families, law enforcement, funeral homes; and general office duties.
Minimum qualification for the successful candidate include:
1. High School Diploma
2. Basic medical background
3. Valid driver’s license.
4. Good oral and written communication skills
5. General computer skills
6. Ability to interact with diverse groups of individuals
7. Ability to work one weekend per month and commitment to holiday rotation coverage (mandatory).
Pay rates vary depending on duties performed.
