What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Counselor Temporary position at Green Chimneys?
Green Chimneys is recruiting for a School Counselor to join their team. The incumbent will provide vocational counseling services to students attending Green Chimneys’ School. He/she will provide transitional services to promote student success and respond to identified student needs by implementing a comprehensive program that addresses academic, career and development for all students.
Education/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Guidance Counseling, School Counseling or related field required
- At least two years’ experience in vocational rehabilitation or vocational counseling Knowledge of tests such as ACT, PSAT, SAT

Licensure/Certification:
- NYS Certification in School Counseling or Guidance Counseling, as required for degree held

This role is temporary until the full-time position is filled. The assignment starts December 2025.
The rate for this exempt role is $194.16 per day. This is a non-benefit eligible role.
