What You'll Do
As a Before & After School Counselor, you'll help create a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment where every child feels supported and excited to learn.
You'll:
- Build positive relationships with children through games, activities, and daily interactions.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants while maintaining NYS OCFS supervision standards.
- Lead and participate in fun, enriching activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, and confidence.
- Help create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and respected.
- Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating kindness, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- Support the Site Leader in the daily operation of the program.

What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent (or currently working toward one).
- Experience working with children under 13 is preferred.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and enthusiasm.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and have fun.
