What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant (Residential Services Department) position at Green Chimneys?
BROAD RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the Vice President of Residential Services, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for administrative support to the Residential Services department/staff including but not necessarily limited to typing, the timely collection and submission of reports and other required documents, and the maintenance of the department’s substantial petty cash account and residents’ allowance accounts. The incumbent will have telephone and personal contact with the department’s staff, the various disciplines of the agency, and the residents.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma required; Business School Diploma or Associate’s Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of Administrative Assistant experience. Will consider candidates without prior experience working as an Administrative Assistant only if significant administrative task proficiency can be proven.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 2010 and able to pass a comprehensive computer test on grammar, filing, basic typing, administrative support skills, and proofreading
The rate for this role is $18.70-19.80 per hour depending on experience.
