Our fleet is essential to our daily operations, and we are looking for a dependable Fleet Maintenance Assistant to help keep our trucks clean, prepared, and ready for service. Responsibilities
- Fuel trucks and ensure vehicles are ready for daily operations.
- Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of company trucks.
- Vacuum truck interiors and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Wash windows and perform general vehicle cleaning tasks.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify any potential issues.
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including fluid checks, oil changes, and basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized fleet area.
- Properly use and maintain cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Report any vehicle concerns or maintenance needs to management.
Qualifications
- Reliable and dependable with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance is a plus, but not required.
- Previous experience with fleet maintenance, automotive service, or similar work is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and working outdoors.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
