Position Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems on tractor-trailers, ensuring equipment stays compliant and operational in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair transport refrigeration units on trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance and system diagnostics
- Identify and resolve electrical and telematics-related issues
- Complete inspections and repairs from a mobile service truck
- Accurately document work performed using internal systems
Qualifications
We're looking for technicians who bring both experience and attention to detail:
- Proven experience working with transport refrigeration systems
- Background in trailer repair and ability to complete DOT inspections
- EPA 608 Certification required
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical schematics
- Experience diagnosing faults using alarm codes
- Welding experience (steel and aluminum) is a plus
- Valid driver's license with clean driving history
- CDL preferred, but not required
