Your Role
As a Tractor Trailer Refrigeration Technician, you will:
- Diagnose and repair tractor-trailer refrigeration units
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Conduct routine telematics repairs and inspections
- Accurately track and document repairs using our computer system
- Perform inspections and repairs from a service truck using powered industrial equipment
What You Bring to the Team
- Strong experience in trailer and transport refrigeration (reefer) repair
608 Certification required (609 certification strongly preferred)
Basic tractor repair skills (advanced tractor work not required)
Ability to perform trailer repairs and DOT inspections
Ability to read and understand complex schematics and diagrams
Skilled at diagnosing and repairing units using alarm codes
Welding experience with steel and aluminum is a plus
CDL preferred, but not required
A clean driving record and a passion for getting the job done right
Ability to support service areas including Fredericksburg, Richmond, and Ashland; ideal candidates live within one hour south of Fredericksburg
Comfortable working from a fully equipped hybrid service truck designed for trailer and reefer repairsAbout Fleet Repair Solutions
